Registering your child at Our Lady of Victory School
requires the following:

- Register and participate in VIRTUS training.
VIRTUS is the brand name that identifies best practices programs designed to help prevent wrongdoing and promote "rightdoing" within religious organizations. The VIRTUS programs empower organizations and people to better control risk and improve the lives of all those who interact with the Church.

- Register for a Background Screening via Sterling Volunteers Background Check.

VIRTUS TRAINING REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:
 

1) Go to www.virtus.org and select FIRST-TIME REGISTRANT

2) Select Begin Registration Process

3) Choose “Rockville Centre, NY – Safe Environment” from the drop down.

4) Create a Username and Password

5) Enter the required information

6) Select “Our Lady of Victory School” from the drop down and select VOLUNTEER as the primary role:



7) Acknowledge and virtually sign the two Code of Conduct pages.

8) Review and select a “Protecting God’s Children for Adults” session to attend.

9) Proceed to the “Registering for a Background Screening” section – you will be re-directed to Sterling Volunteers Background Check.
